Gemini Live is a service offering real-time talks with the Google AI service. It was initially launched as a feature for Advanced subscribers, but today, the company revealed it will reach all users for free.
The feature is different from the regular Gemini app with its natural flow of conversation and back-and-forth exchanges, allowing interruptions for new information or directions.
We’re starting to roll out Gemini Live in English to more people using the Android app, free of charge. Go Live to talk things out with Gemini, explore a new topic, or brainstorm ideas. Keep an eye out for Gemini Live in the Gemini app ? pic.twitter.com/0VL0c7E6Gw

Gemini Live is available in the Gemini app, which is only on the Play Store, meaning only Android users will be able to use the service. Also, it is rolling out only to phones set in English, with more languages coming soon.
Live can be activated from the sparkle icon in the bottom-right of the Gemini app. Then it just opens a screen with two buttons – Hold and End to navigate in the conversation. Once the chat is over, the user can see a transcription of the whole interaction. Live is currently not supporting extensions such as Gmail, YouTube Music, or Maps.
