The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro are expected to debut soon, although no date has yet been confirmed. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have most of the specs. A huge leak in late August revealed almost everything to know, leaving only the design a mystery.
However, a short video on TikTok emerged, showing the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro in the flesh, although we can only see the back design. The original video has since been taken down since, but we have a few screenshots to show you.
Xiaomi 14T Pro and 14T, allegedly
From what we can gather, the new 14T series follows the same design language as their predecessors, but the camera islands now look more simplistic. They are just a standard square-ish camera bump with rounded corners—nothing too fancy.
It’s hard to tell from the photos, but the 14T Pro seems to have adopted a flat design – flat back and flat side frame. The finish is somewhat different too. Looks like frosted glass with a sparkly finish of sorts. The non-Pro option, on the other hand, has a curved back glass.
It’s important to note that we are not entirely sure if the 14T Pro is the flat one. It could be the other way around, but the source article doesn’t explicitly say which is which. It’s also hard to tell by the size since both handsets share the same display.
All we can do now is wait and see if the 14T series will be able to surprise us with anything.
